Driving Jack to school today, he was awed by the fact that he could feel his hand on his hair when touching it ever so lightly. He said, “Hair is not part of the body, you know. It’s just a thing that covers up the bald spot.”
I’ve been looking through a lot of old pictures lately, and wondering what I was thinking when styling my “thing that covers up the bald spot.” John and the boys got some good laughs out of these pictures, so what else would a blogger do but share them with the world for further humiliation? I’ll save the fashion and make-up talk for another post.

Well, that took a lot of courage...! Ah, the 80s, those looks were sooo cool back when. I love your descriptions. LOL!
I love the pictures! I could never get the flip just right. Way to go!
Love the razor sharp Joan Jett look. Man, as I was looking through these pictures, I was struck with how much Jack looks like you. I always thought he was more of a John clone.
KEEP BELIEVING
I am so impressed you put those out there for all to see. Love the looks!!
What, no big '80s hair? You know, the hair that requires the photographer to pull back so far that you can't see the color of your eyes, just so he could get the hair in the picture? ; ) Not that I have ever had hair like that! LOL!
Yep. I've had every one of those. I personally put a hole in the ozone layer with all the Aqua Net I used.
Hi! Just wanted to let you know that I listed you here: http://www.bosssanders.com/bloggy-directory/
OMG..beautiful..is that last picture you in a Rolla sweatshirt? LOL..
I'm SO excited Angie is coming too!!
I wish I had a place for Bossy to crash :-(
These pictures bring back vivid memories for me. They are so funny.
You are a very brave woman to post those pictures. No way will I ever show anyone the pix of me with Beethoven hair. (Of course if you ask my sister, she's always happy to pull out that particular picture! I think she made extra copies.)
Wow, you are brave to post these! I can honestly say I never did these, but I remember my sister trying some of them.

AHHHHHHHHH! We have to be close in age because I had all those styles. *shudder*
What a fun post.
My goodness, weren't you creative? I am sorry to say I have the same hairstyle now that I had when I was 7. We won't, however, talk about what went on inbetween those ages.
I wore several of these exact styles!
I have to stop reading your posts on my phone because then I forget to come tell you how much I enjoyed 'em. And in this case how much everyone in line with me at the grocery store did, too. LOL!
No wonder that gorgeous man snapped you up, you were a hottie even back then. Now all you have to worry about is the fact that, like clothes, hairstyles cycle back eventually. I'm wondering if your first DIL will be so beautifully coiffed at the wedding. heh heh heh.
