Caution: Sticky Notes

A new study shows that improper use of sticky notes can cause unwanted consequences. In a recent study, the following sticky note was left taped to the bedside lamp of a 6-year old boy:

The study showed that this sticky note caused excessive yelling, rapid breathing, and running around the house at an extremely early hour.

I am not showing this to my boys. It would just be yet another reason for whinging about the fact that we just don't get snow here. (Which is my fault, obviously.)

We are actually getting tired of the white stuff and whines and complaints are accompanying the freshly falling flakes. Today is our first official snow day from school, though. This simply allows for another non-related boy to enter our home and whine and fuss about the snow, but love the snow day.

Funny post-its. I wish I could draw so well. I also wish I could be sledding instead of procrastinating at work. :-) Hope you are enjoying the snow. -Karla

Wouldn't it be nice if the people who do those studies could share the information BEFORE WE NEED IT??? LOL!! Cute post!

Hope you guys get to dig out soon. My cousin lives in Lone Jack, MO. He got mad at me the other day for whining about being cold when it was 63 deg. in Houston. OK. I admit it. I'm a weather wuss!

Hang in!

Ha ha!

We never get snow days here, or every day would be off and we'd have to have them in school all summer long. I'm so tired of snow!!!
